VERONA, Italy, Feb. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Grandi Langhe e il Piemonte del vino is a premier annual wine event held in Turin, Italy, unveiling the new vintages of DOCG and DOC wines of Piedmont. The two-day event featured 500 producers from across the entire region, extending the event beyond the traditional realm of the region. Held within the striking setting of the Officine Grandi Riparazioni (OGR), wine professionals, international press, buyers, importers and wine lovers from around the world converged to sample the region's latest vintage.

Members of the Italian Wine Ambassador community, who had travelled from around the globe to attend the event, gave their perspective on Piedmont's importance to global markets, while Sergio Germano, President of Consorzio Barolo and Barbaresco, emphasized the region's commitment to quality and heritage, while iconic producers such as Stefano Chiarlo (Azienda Vitivinicola Michele Chiarlo) and Elisa Semino (La Colombera) revealed the stories behind their winemaking philosophies.
