OTTAWA, ON, Jan. 27, 2026 /CNW/ - On Thursday, January 29, 2026, Theresa Hinz, Executive Director, Policy and Risk Response, at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI), will hold a technical briefing for media on the measures that will be published during OSFI's first Quarterly Release Day of 2026.

The release items will include:

• Consultative Document on Credit Risk Management
• Consultative Document on Senior Leader Accountability
• Final Liquidity Adequacy Requirements (LAR) Guideline (2026)

OSFI will also provide status updates on the following initiatives:

• Guide to Administrative Monetary Penalties (AMPs)
• loan-to-income (LTI) limits
